Also known as an Estate at Will. Essentially a form of Licence.
A legal (but non Property) interest under which premises are occupied on a “personal” agreement or a tenancy agreement where a tenant occupies property with the consent of the owner, but without an agreement specifying a definitive rental period or regular payment of rent.
A Tenancy at Will does not grant a formal Tenancy, or create any legal/enforceable interest in the property, which is occupied “at the will of” the Landlord.
Often used to allow early access to demises Premises pending the completion of a lease.
